Jesus prayed to his Father in Heaven saying, “I pray not only for [my disciples] but also for those who will believe in me through their word, so that they may all be one”. (John 17:20-21)
Thought
Lord Jesus, help me to be more like the Saints; resolutely refusing to deny You and spreading your Word, so that I can be one with you for all eternity.
Lord Jesus, I also thank you for praying for me when you were on this earth.
Reflection
Lord Jesus, I look forward to the happiness and joy that eternal life with you will bring. Guide me through my challenges this day and the remaining days of my life. May my faith remain firm, regardless of all earthly wealth or power placed before me.
Prayer: The Lord is My Shepherd
The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want.
He makes me lie down in pastures green,
He leads me beside quiet waters, He restores my soul.
He guides me in paths of righteousness for His name’s sake.
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil, for you are with me;
Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil, my cup overflows.
Surely goodness and kindness will follow me all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. Amen.
