When the disciples asked Jesus about divorce He said, “Whoever divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery against her. And if she divorces her husband and marries another, she commits adultery”. (Mark 10:11-12)
Thought
The family is a precious gift from God. Family unity, understanding, respect and love will be reflected in the way children grow up and see God; it will mould their lifetime aspirations.
We all have a duty to pray for and protect children.
Reflection
Lord Jesus, bless and protect parents and their families. Make their homes a place of peace, love and faith in You.
Mary, Mother of Jesus, pray for all mothers, fathers and their children throughout the world.
