Choosing The Twelve Apostles

Before Jesus appointed his twelve, he went up a mountain and spent the night alone in prayer.

In the morning, he returned to his disciples and chose twelve of them, whom he called Apostles. (Luke 6:12-16)

Our daily decisions, small and large, somewhere down the line, impact on others; take the time to pray, share your decision-making with God.

Lord Jesus, when I forget you are truly by my side, accept my sincere sorrow and forgive me for my selfishness.

Prayer: Peace (Pope St John Paul II)

Mary, Queen of Peace,
save us all,
who have so much trust in you,
from wars, hatred and oppression.
Make us all learn to live in peace,
do what is demanded by justice
and respect the rights of every person,
so that peace may be firmly established. Amen.
