Daily Prayers

Prayer is Love, I want to Love

Deceased – RIP

Recently Departed

Image of Divine Mercy.

Into your hands, O Lord, we humbly entrust our brothers and sisters.

In this life you embraced them with your tender love; deliver them now from every evil and bid them eternal rest.

The old order has passed away: welcome them into paradise, where there will be no sorrow, no weeping or pain, but fullness of peace and joy with your Son and the Holy Spirit forever and ever. Amen.

Family Departed

Image of The Blessed Virgin Mary

O God, the creator and redeemer of all the faithful, grant to the souls of my family, the remission of all their sins.

They worked so hard for those they loved. Their spirit flew before we knew, their work on earth was done. Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on their souls. Amen.

All Departed Souls

Nail and crown of thorns Cross

Lord, welcome into your calm and peaceful kingdom, those who have departed out of this present life to be with you. Grant them rest and a place with the spirits of the just; and give them the life that shows no age, the reward that passes not away, through Christ Our Lord. Amen.

God’s Beautiful Garden

Image of a Statue of St Joseph.

God looked around his garden and found an empty place. He then looked down upon the earth and saw your tired face. He put his arms around you and lifted you to rest. God’s garden must be beautiful, he always takes the best. He knew that you were suffering; he knew that you were in pain. He knew that you would never get well on earth again. He saw the road was getting rough, and the hills were hard to climb. So he closed your weary eyes and whispered, “Peace be Thine.” It broke our hearts to lose you but you didn’t go alone for part of us went with you, the day God called you home. Amen.

Eternal rest grant unto ( ……… ) O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them. May they rest in peace. May their souls and the souls of all the faithfully departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
