St John Ogilvie
(1579 – 1615)
St John was born into a wealthy Calvinist family near Keith, Scotland.
St John was educated in Europe by the Benedictines and Jesuits. He became a Roman Catholic at a time of much European political turmoil and later, following further studies, was ordained a Catholic Priest.
