Jesus tells us: The Golden Rule

Jesus-365-1Chapter 5 – The Sermon on the Mount
Story No. 22 of 29 (
Matthew 7:12)

FeelingsOne of Jesus’ simple rules of thumb was, “Treat people the same way you want them to treat you”.

So, if you want others to help you – help them, to love you – love them, to trust you – trust them. When you do such things to them, you do likewise to God.

Everyone has feelings, everyone should be respected.

Lord Jesus, help me to be a true example and witness to others of your love for us.
