Jesus compared his ministry to the strong bond between a Shepherd and his flock saying, “My sheep listen to my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish; no one will snatch them from my hand”. (John 10:27-28)
Thought
When the Jewish Leaders, once again, asked Jesus if he was the Christ, he replied, “I told you so and you do not believe. You refuse to believe because you are not my sheep”. (John 10:25-26)
Reflection
Lord Jesus, I pray for those misled by false shepherds. Open their eyes and help them to release their “victims” shackles.

Lord, make me an instrument of Your peace;
Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
Where there is injury, pardon;
Where there is error, truth;
Where there is doubt, faith;
Where there is despair, hope;
Where there is darkness, light;
And where there is sadness, joy.
O Divine Master,
Grant that I may not so much seek
To be consoled as to console;
To be understood as to understand;
To be loved as to love.
For it is in giving that we receive;
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned;
And it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.
