Jesus was making his way to Jericho when a blind beggar repeatedly shouted out to Him for mercy. “Lord let me see again,” he begged. Jesus stopped and restored the man’s sight saying, “Your faith has healed you”.
As Jesus continued his journey, the joyous man followed Him, while giving praise to God. (Luke 18:41)
Through sheer persistence and faith, we can all find and see the love of God.
Lord Jesus, you know our struggles and needs. Grant us the confidence to trust you, as we walk the path you have prepared for us. Give us renewed strength to carry our small burden. Thank You, Jesus.
Prayer: All Needs
We beg you, Lord,
to help and defend us.
Deliver the oppressed.
Pity the insignificant.
Raise the fallen.
Show yourself to the needy.
Heal the sick.
Bring back those of your people who have gone astray.
Feed the hungry.
Lift up the weak.
Take off the prisoner’s chains.
May every nation come to know that you alone are God,
that Jesus is your child,
that we are your people,
the sheep that you pasture. Amen.
