Jesus’ Conversation With Nicodemus

Extract

Baptism of a Child

There was a Jewish man named Nicodemus. He had heard about Jesus’ many miracles and teachings so, he secretly visited him to ask how someone could be born a second time.

Jesus told him, “I tell you the solemn truth, unless a person is born of water and spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God”. (John 3:5)

ThoughtsThought

At our baptism, we received an outpouring of the Holy Spirit and the gates of heaven were opened to us.

By living Jesus’ Gospel, through that same Holy Spirit – the Light of Jesus, we will gain entry to the Kingdom of God.

ReflectionsReflection

Lord Jesus, send your Holy Spirit upon me to enlighten and guide me in my daily efforts as I strive to live your Gospel.

Prayer: Love

Love is patient,
love is kind.
It does not envy, Gift-Box
it does not boast,
it is not proud.
It is not rude,
it is not self-seeking,
it is not easily angered,
it keeps no record of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil
but rejoices with the truth.
It always protects,
always trusts,
always hopes,
and always perseveres.
