As Jesus’ teaching spread, it was perhaps no surprise that there were different opinions about who He was. Some said, “This really is the Prophet”, others, “This is the Christ” and yet others, “No, for the Christ doesn’t come from Galilee, does he!” (John 7:41-42)
Honest discussion with an open mind, respect and tolerance of others, is healthy and educational. However, when there is an intention to set a trap and manipulate the truth, that is evil. Sadly, this is what some people were trying to do to Jesus!
Love is more rewarding than anger, hatred and war! Isn’t it?
Lord Jesus, give me the strength to love my enemies and see only good in everything that I do today. Thank you, Jesus.
Prayer: The Grace to Forgive
Lord Jesus, give me the strength to forgive.
Purify my heart and mind.
Bestow your grace on my weaknesses and failings.
Open my life to your true and endless love. Amen.
